SEkO Center Philosophy
In the pursuit of preserving Krimml as a livable and lovable home for future generations, the management of Raiffeisenbank Krimml, Peter Hofer and Petra Matitz, together with the Executive Board and Supervisory Board, developed the idea of an infrastructure of this kind, unique in the Alpine region, to secure and strengthen local supplies.
Local structures were threatened by the gradual closure of grocery stores, butchers, and bakeries. In 2007, the SEkO Center opened as the heart of the village community.
The name SEkO Center is an abbreviation for "Service und Einkauf im Ort" (local service and shopping center) – a service and local supply center located where people live.
The SEkO Center offers services, goods, and everyday products (food and groceries). Needs-based services centrally located – this saves time and improves quality of life.
